About NDSL
Naija Drone Soccer League (NDSL) is Nigeria's foremost drone soccer organisation, introducing and developing the sport of drone soccer across the country. We are committed to building a structured, competitive, and youth-driven ecosystem that promotes technology, teamwork, and innovation through sport.
Drone Soccer is an official sport recognised globally, combining piloting skills, strategy, and teamwork. NDSL is the gateway to this movement in Nigeria — from grassroots participation to national competition.
What is Drone Soccer?
Drone Soccer is a competitive team sport where players pilot spherical drones to score goals against the opposing team. Each team consists of pilots who control drones encased in protective frames, navigating a defined field to outmanoeuvre opponents and score.
It blends the excitement of football with drone technology — making it one of the fastest-growing tech sports in the world. It is officially recognised by the World Air Sports Federation (FAI) and is growing rapidly across Asia, Europe, and now Africa through organisations like NDSL.

Your Role at NDSL
State Coordinator
- Serve as the official NDSL representative in your state
- Identify, recruit, and onboard team managers and participants
- Organise and oversee state-level NDSL activities and events
- Act as liaison between NDSL HQ and teams in your state
- Submit regular activity and progress reports to headquarters
- Promote NDSL through community outreach and partnerships
- Ensure compliance with NDSL rules, standards, and guidelines
- Manage logistics for state competitions and training sessions
Team Manager
- Oversee day-to-day management of an NDSL-registered team
- Recruit, register, and manage team pilots and members
- Coordinate team training schedules and practice sessions
- Ensure team members understand drone soccer rules and conduct
- Handle team registration, documentation, and compliance
- Communicate match schedules and updates to team members
- Maintain team equipment and report any issues to the coordinator
- Represent the team at official NDSL events and meetings
General Expectations
All State Coordinators and Team Managers are expected to uphold the values of professionalism, integrity, and excellence in all NDSL activities. You are ambassadors of the league and the sport in your communities.
Regular communication with NDSL headquarters is mandatory. Timely reporting, active participation in league activities, and adherence to all official guidelines are non-negotiable requirements of your role.
